Hello, dear readers. It’s been a while.
Since we last spoke, I graduated college! A whole semester early, actually, and I’m still not really sure how I managed to do that. But it is official: I have a degree in English Literature, which means all of my book opinions are completely, inarguably correct from here on out. I’m kidding, of course. Really what it means is that I’ll throw out phrases like, “I love how these characters are foils to one another” in the hopes that in your head you’ll think, “Wow, she must have an English degree.”
Anyway, I’m going to refocus this blog to be about reading instead of asexuality. Don’t get me wrong: still very queer. But that’s not the thing that I want to be my main focus anymore. I've said my piece. Now I’m showing the world that I like books, I like to talk about books, and I’m not too bad at it either.
I don’t know if you know this, but I’ve actually kept a record of every book I’ve read for the past three years, and I’ve written reviews for all of them in the past two. I’ve never really connected with the digital options, so I’ve been doing it all in my Book Journals. But I think it’s time to bring myself into the 21st century, which means everyone gets to see my book thoughts. And believe me, I have a lot of them.
I’ll try to stay current with what I’m reading, but admittedly, a lot of what you might be seeing will be backlogs. But I’m going to post a lot more frequently, so I hope you’re ready. If you haven't already you can subscribe to be notified when I post. Then you'll never miss an expert book review (or some other random thoughts) from yours truly.
